Cancellations Made by Student
For cancellations made five (5) or more business days prior to the start of a course, the student can request to either....
- Be rescheduled into another course, or
- Receive a full refund from Biomed Support Services (BSS)
If the student withdraws from the course within five working days of the first day of the course, they will receive a 50% refund of the total course fee.
For no-shows, payment is non-refundable – The term no show is defined as the student does not show up on the date the course starts, and there was no prior communication from the student to cancel or reschedule the course.
Rescheduling
For reschedules made five (5) or more business days prior to the start of a course, the student can request a different date or a different course.
Substitutions of One Student for Another
Substitutions of one student for another for a specific enrollment are accepted with at least three days’ notice prior to the beginning of a class.
Cancellation by Biomed Support Services
There are generally two primary reasons for cancelling a class: weather and insufficient enrollment. Other than Acts of God, Biomed Support Services may cancel or reschedule any class for any reason and will attempt to provide at least ten (10) days’ notice. At the Customer's direction, BSS will refund the Customer fees paid for the canceled class or credit the fees to a rescheduled class.
Travel
Travel arrangements are the students' responsibility. BSS will not be responsible for any financial loss incurred by the student or his/her employer due to rescheduling or cancellation of any BSS course. In cases where the student is traveling interstate to attend a BSS course and incurs financial loss to reschedule or cancel his/her travel and accommodation bookings, the student will be eligible to claim a 10% discount on the applicable course fee for the next available BSS course the student or his/her designated representative wishes to attend.
